New 7 Wonders Cities of India

Internet based polls recently published the new seven Urban Wonders of the World but here we came up with a list of New7Wonders Cities of India that best represent the modern urban civilization.

The most impressive and emerging cities in India may also include Tiruchirapalli, Coimbatore, Madurai, Warangal, Shillong , Imphal, Agartala, Jamshedpur , twin city of Pimpri- Chinchwad and Thenmala – India’s first planned Eco-Tourism destination in Kerala.

Amaravati – Futuristic Capital

Amaravati is a newly planned capital city of Andhra Pradesh on the banks of the Krishna river.  The capital city of Amaravati will have well Planned Infrastructure, high-speed circular railway line, electrical cars and most iconic buildings. – Photo Source

Mysore – Cleanest Kingdom

Mysore is the cleanest city in India, located at foothills of the Chamundi Hills in Karnataka state. The Kingdom of Mysore is noted for its heritage palaces and structures, inter city public transportation and Mysore Palace is second most visited tourist attractions in India.

Pondicherry – French Riviera

Pondicherry has list of colonial era buildings, churches, statues and well planned French style structures. The city is a popular tourist destination in South India and offers French cuisine, Europeans taste foods and Vietnamese restaurants.

Chandigarh – Green Sectors

Chandigarh is the first planned city of India and divided it into 60 green sectors. THe city with beautiful concepts is bordered by its neighboring cities of Mohali and Panchkula, also known for artificial lakes and Gardens that include Rock Garden, Garden of Silence, Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, Garden of Palms and near by Pinjore Gardens in Panchkula.

Navi Mumbai – Planned Township

Navi Mumbai is a planned township that attracting large numbers of citizens and home to various business hubs and recreational facilities. The urban area is well connected to other parts of Mumbai with rapid transit system, hovercraft service and Navi Mumbai International Airport.

Gangtok – Clean, Green and Happy

The cosmopolitan town of Gangtok offers a mix of cultures and communities. Due to the Swachh Bharat campaign, Gangtok is today a Clean, Green and Happy city of India, litter and spit free zone and also working towards becoming poverty free in few years.

Ahmadabad – Heritage City

Ahmadabad on the banks of the Sabarmati river is declared as India’s first UNESCO World Heritage City for its gates, Bhadra fort and Jumma Mosque. The Historic City of Ahmadabad is divided by the Sabarmati river and united by mass transit metro system, bus rapid transit system and upcoming Dholera International Airport.
