Kangchenjunga is situated at the border of India and Nepal in of North Sikkim region along with more mountain peaks with 7,000 m (23,000 ft) elevation.

Anamudi is located at the junction of three major hills of Western Ghats the Cardamom Hills, the Anaimalai Hills and the Palani Hills.

Amarkantak is located at an elevation of 1,048 m (3,438 ft), situated in the dense forest region of Madhya Pradesh. Amarkantak is also the meeting point of two major mountain ranges the Vindhyas and the Satpuras along with Maikal Hills range of Chhattisgarh.

The Patkai hills again contains three hill ranges The Patkai-Bum, famous the Garo-Khasi-Jaintia and Lushai Hills. Blue mountain is the highest peak in Lushai hills of Mizoram state with an elevation of  2,157 m (7,077 ft).
