Bowling, in cricket, is the action of propelling the ball toward the wicket defended by a batter. A player skilled at bowling is called a bowler.

Kagiso Rabada is a South African cricketer born 25 May 1995, in Johannesburg, Gauteng. He plays all formats of the game and is known under the nickname KG.

In the IPL 2020, he still plays for Delhi Capitals and he is the number one favorite to win the Purple Cap and he is recognized as one of the best bowlers in the world at the moment.

2 Imran Tahir

Imran Tahir is actually a South African cricketer born 27 March 1979, in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. He grew up in Lahore, Pakistan, and learned the game while growing up there. He was selected during trials to represent the Pakistan U-19, cricket team. He failed to make the transition into the next stage for Pakistan.

He then tried hes luck in England before heading to South Africa where he impressed very much with quality spinners. He then played 5 years in South Africa. In 2005, aged 26, Tahir became a resident of South Africa. He is married to Sumayya Dildar, a South African woman, and has represented South Africa after becoming eligible to play for them when he met his four-year residence requirement in April 2009.

Imran is now getting older, but this guy seems to ageing like wine, meaning, he just keeps getting better with age. He won the Purple Cap last year in the IPL 2019 and he certantly got what it takes to compete for the Purple Cap in 2020 as well.

3 Pat Cummins

Pat Cummins is an Australian cricketer born 8 May 1993, in Westmead, New South Wales, Australia. He currently plays in Australias national team in all formats, actually Cummins was in January 2020 named as the «Test Cricketer of the Year» by the ICC (International Cricket Council), also he is ranked 1st in ICC test bowlers.

Pat Cummins started hes Indian Premier League career in Kolkata Knight Riders back in 2014, before joining Delhi Daredevils in 2017. In 2018 Mumbai Indians won the auction for hes services, but Cummins unfortunatly got injured for the 2018 season and did not play. This years auction before the IPL 2020 Pat Cummins was caught in a bidding war betweeen Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, and hes first IPL club KKR came out on top and secured Cummins for this season for the price of 15.5 crores. That is a new record in IPL for the most expensive oversea player in the IPL history.

You can be sure that if Pat Cummins can keep the injuries away, he will be a strong contestant for the Purple Cap in 2020. Kolkata Knight Riders are certently looking to win the IPL 2020 with this investement.
