Saloon

R has started to operate saloon coaches operate on charter basis, These coaches have a master bedroom, one normal bedroom, one kitchen and window trailing.

Vistadome

Vistadome coaches are glass roof coaches on some tourist routes of Indian railways, The tourist routes includes Araku Valley, Konkan Railway, Kalka-Shimla Railway and also has plans to start Vistadome on Nilgiri Mountain Railway.

ICF Coaches

ICF Coaches was developed by Integral Coach Factory Perambur and used on majority of Indian Railways trains. Indian Railways is replacing all the ICF Coaches with the LHB coaches.

LHB Coaches

LHB Coaches was developed by Linke Hofmann Busch of Germany and produced by Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala. They have been used on all rail network of Indian Railways at an operating speed up to 160 km/h and provide more safety and comfort.

Anubhuti Coaches

Anubhuti Coaches are luxury LHB coach, introduced only in the Shatabdi and Rajdhani Express trains of Indian Railways. These coaches are produced by Modern Coach Factory of Raebareli.

Integral Coach Factory, Chennai

Integral Coach Factory in Perambur near Chennai consists of two main divisions. ICF Bogie were developed by Integral Coach Factory.

Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala

Rail Coach Factory at Kapurthala of Punjab is one of the popular coach manufacturing unit of Indian Railways. The factory has produced AC Sleeper Coach, Chair Car, Executive Class,Refrigerated Parcel Van and Post Office Coach.

Modern Coach Factory, Raebareli

Modern Coach Factory of Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh third coach manufacturing facility of Indian Railways. Anubhuti coaches and LHB coaches are produced at the Rae Bareli coach factory.
