Shraavana/ श्रावण month is the fourth month of the Hindu year calendar, Starts late July and ending in the third week of August. The Shravan Maas is a very important month in India also known as the month of fasting.

Sawan Somwar 2021 Dates

The holy month of Shravan Maas dates – July 25, 2021, Sunday Shravana Begins and August 22, 2021, Sunday Shravana Ends. All Mondays known as Sawan Somwar are highly auspicious for fasting of the Lord Shiva and Tuesday to the Goddess Parvati.

Shravani Mela- कांवड़ यात्रा

Shravani Mela is a major festival in Deoghar of Jharkhand, also the time of the annual Kanwar Yatra/ कांवड़ यात्रा when thousands of Kanwaria bringing holy water of river Ganges from Sultanganj in Bihar and walk around 100 km on foot to Deoghar (Baidyanath dham) in Jharkhand.
