6 Days Travel Itinerary for Shimla and Manali

Shimla and Manali are two of the best hills stations in north India and most popular honeymoon destination in India. Our itinerary covers Chail, Kufri, Shimla, Manali,Kullu and Kasol, also includes a visit to the Snow Point,Temples,Nature Park and Manikaran in Kullu.

Day 1 – Shimla

Hanuman Murti-Shimla

Reach Shimla by Toy train from Kalka, spend the rest of day and do some local sightseeing at Shimla. One of the best places to visit in Shimla is the Summer hill, picturesque landscape township with breathtaking views.

Day 2 – Kufri

Kufri is small hill station, located 19 kms away from Shimla at an altitude of 2,290 meter on National Highway 22. The region is surrounded with list of tourist places and attractions such as Indira Park,Kufri zoo and snow activity.

Day 3 – Manali

Morning drive to Manali through beautiful Kullu valley,romantic hills on your way. 7 hours drive, relax for the day then proceed on a local sightseeing trip and shopping for local market.

Day 4 – Manali

Rohtang-pass-Manali

Early morning road trip to rohtang pass and later visit the half day trip to Solang, Kothi, Rahala, Gulaba to enjoy snow activity. If time permits, pay a visit to Hadimba Temple,an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi.

Day 5 – Kullu

Kullu-Manali

Kullu is a open valley located on the banks of the Beas River, famous for its beauty,temples, majestic hills and snow mountains. The Kullu Valley is also known as the Valley of the Gods,meadows and scenic views of the Himalayan mountain.

Day 6 – Kasol

Kasol is a Himalayan village, located 42 km east of Kullu at the height of 1640 meters on the banks of the Parvati River. Kasol is also famous for its Israeli inhabitants,Parvati river, trekking base camp and Tosh village.
