The Indian railway has started the Panj Takht Train tour to the five Takhts of Sikh Religon situated across the country.Panj Takht Train will start from 16/02/2014 to 25/02/2014 and charge only Rupees 8250 only for the whole tour.
Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib is one of the five takhts of Sikh religon, situated at banks of the River Godavari in Nanded city of Maharashtra. The Angitha Sahib is built over the place where Guru Gobind Singh was cremated, gurudwara complex is known Sach-Khand Realm of Truth.
The Gurdwara of Patna Sahib is situated on the banks of Ganges river in Patna, Bihar. This is one of the five Holy Seats of Authority of the Sikhs in remembrance of the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh.
The Takht Sri Darbar Sahib Damdama Sahib is in Bathinda in Punjab where Guru Gobind Singh prepared the full Sikh scriptures called Sri Guru Granth Sahib. This place owes its importance to the literary work of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
The Akal Takht Menas The Throne of the Timeless One is located in the Harmandir Sahib complex or Golden Temple in Amritsar, It is the highest seat of temporal authority of the Khalsa and the seat of the Sikh religion’s earthly authority.
Takht Sri Darbar Sahib Kesgarh Sahib is the birthplace of the Khalsa and one of the five Temporal Authorities of Sikhism. It is located in Anandpur Sahib in Punjab.
