4 Days Itinerary for Bhubaneswar and Puri Sightseeing

Puri is situated south of the capital of Bhubaneswar on the Bay of Bengal and one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites for Hindus. Bhubaneswar and Cuttack are also referred as the twin cities of Odisha and one of eastern India’s most visited tourist destinations.

Day 1 – Puri

Get the blessing of Lord Jagannath at Jagannath Temple located in the city, an important pilgrimage destination especially for the Vaishnava. Visit the Gundicha Temple,Known as the Garden House of Jagannath and annual Rath Yatra is celebrated here. Spend rest of time at Puri Beach, one of the finest beaches along the eastern coast of India.

Day 2 – Chilka

Chilka Lake is largest brackish water lagoon in India, situated in the east cost at driving distance of 104 km from Puri. Chilika Lake is India’s migratory birds paradise and known for Dolphins.

Day 3 – Konark

After breakfast drive towards Konark via Puri Konark marine drive, 35 km long journey through the mesmerizing sea shore and forest. Spend some time on Chandrabhaga beach and visit the magnificent Sun Temple at Konark, Late evening reach Bhubaneswar city.

Day 4 – Bhubaneswar

The city of Bhubaneswar is known as the city of temples and famous for its diverse ranges of heritage resources,sacred landscape and temples. Bhubaneswar has more then one thousand temples, Famous temples include Lingaraj Temple, Muktesvara Temple, Rajarani Temple and Ananta Vasudeva Temple.
