Dhubri-Phulbari bridge, 19 km – Brahmaputra River

The Dhubri-Phulbari Bridge is an under-construction bridge over the Brahmaputra River with a total lenght of more than 19 km. Once completed the Dhubri РPhulbari Bridge would be India’s second longest bridge over water after the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link.

Dhola-Sadiya Bridge, 9.15 km – Lohit River


Bhupen Hazarika Bridge connecting the states of Assam with Arunachal Pradesh over the Lohit River, connecting the village of Dhola with Sadiya. Lohit River is a major tributary of the Brahmaputra river in Assam and the 9.15 kilometres long bridge is the longest bridge in India over water.

Bogibeel Bridge, 4.94 km – Brahmaputra River


The Beautiful Bogibeel Bridge over the Brahmaputra River is a road and rail bridge and is the longest rail-cum-road bridge in India. After the Bhupen Hazarika Setu and Dibang River Bridge, It is also the one of the longest bridge in Assam with 4.94 kilometres lenght and in North East Indian States.

Saraighat Bridge 1.4 km – Brahmaputra River


Saraighat Bridge is one of the most iconic bridge of Assam over Brahmaputra River and known to connect Northeast India with rest of the states. The rail-cum-road bridge has a great importance to the region and provide a critical rail and road link between Assam and other states.

New Saraighat Bridge 1.4 km – Brahmaputra River


New Saraighat bridge is slightly longer than the old Saraighat Bridge rail-cum-road bridge, constructed beside the old one over Brahmaputra River in Assam. Brahmaputra River is the life line of Assam states and connects one of the fastest growing Tier-2 Guwahati city of Assam.
